The Characters of Killing Floor 2 are the player-controlled avatars that run, shoot, and otherwise interact with the game's environment. They are ex-police, military, or other varieties of survivors turned mercenaries, employed by Horzine to clean up the mess they've unleashed on the world. Claire the Stalker is a character that only appeared in the original mod and never in any future Killing Floor games. As such, her canocity is in question. Claire was added in one of the last patches to the mod, making her the second playable female character in the series after Kara Barnes. So far, she is the only known Specimen to switch sides and become non-hostile to the players.
